We’ve got room for writers of all levels. This site is for everyone interested in reading and creating news; for professionals, students, content creators, or if you’re at a live event, ongoing or emerging conflict and want to share your truth about what’s happening on the ground get in touch. Our Chief Editor is member of the British Association of Journalists and adheres very strongly to the highest journalistic standards. We value objectivity and reasoned debate. All content we publish is checked by individual contributors, evaluated and reviewed for factuality and authenticity by Editors and the Editor in Chief, Colin Humphrey. This triple check allows us to retain objectivity and keep to our community standards.
If you do find anything like errata or even typos that you feel change the context or accuracy of an article please get in touch and email contribute@criticalmatters.net. Include the URL or article link, the specific ‘text’ excerpt and if you can an image. Likewise if you have suggestions to improve our news articles like features and even stories get in touch.
